1. Prospective students should make an appointment with the Director of Admissions of the School.

2. The prospective student should be prepared to :

a. Submit a High School Diploma, or its equivalent, as specified in the
    Admissions Requirements section of the catalog
b. Complete an Application for Admission form
c. Complete an Enrollment Agreement form

3. Credit for previous education, training, or work experience will be considered on a case-to-case basis. Prospective students who wish to avail of this must provide official transcripts for previous education and/or training, or documentation of the work experience related to the program being sought. If credit is warranted, the course/s may be re-arranged for early completion.

4. The Director of Admissions will assess the prospective student's qualifications and abilities for the program in which the students is interested in pursuing. Alternative program opportunities can also be discussed at this time. A physical tour of the facilities of the campus, including the lecture rooms, laboratories, computer lab, library and other campus facilities can also be conducted.

5. The Director of Admissions will provide the applicant with the following information :

6. The student will receive either a Letter of Acceptance or a Letter of Rejection within one week of completion of admission forms and documents. Students must contact the College to verify acceptance within the timeline stated in the Letter of Acceptance.

7. The date of the appropriate Orientation Session will be indicated in the Letter of Acceptance.





1. Applicants must either :
a. Have a high school diploma, or
b. Have a General Education Diploma (GED) certificate, or
c. Be beyond compulsory school age in the State of California, and have taken and passed a standardized test that reliably and validly measures the student's ability to be successfully trained to perform the tasks associated with the job titles to which the course of instruction is represented to lead.
d. Applicants who have graduated from foreign schools must submit a notarized, translated diploma or Certificate of Completion.

2. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
3. Applicants must complete an Application for Admission form.
4. Applicants must complete an oral evaluation with the Admissions Department. Parents or spouses are encouraged to be present during the oral evaluation.
5. Applicants must complete all financial arrangements prior to admission.
6. Applicants must complete an Enrollment Agreement.
7. Applicants must submit personal essay (1 page) on applicant's educational goals and reasons for applying to JADC.
8. Two recommendation letters from teachers, employers, or equivalent are optional.
9. Appliants' portfolios are recommended, but are optional.
10. Applicants who are accepted for admission must attend an Orientation Session to complete the admissions process.
